त्रिरात्रो पोषणाच्छुद्ध्ये त्पंचगव्याशनाद्विज । स्नानदानजपादौ च भोजनादौ च नारद ॥ ८६ ॥

હે દ્વિજ, ત્રણ રાત્રિ સુધી નિયત અલ્પાહારથી અથવા પંચગવ્યના સેવનથી શુદ્ધિ થાય છે. હે નારદ, સ્નાન, દાન, જપ તથા ભોજનાદિ આચરણમાં પણ આ શુદ્ધિ-વિધિઓ કહેલી છે।
