Narada (teaching in a Moksha-dharma/ritual-astrology context; dialogue framework traditionally with Sanatkumara lineage)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It links inner discipline with outer order: aligning one’s ritual act (arghya) with the Moon’s orderly course trains steadiness (niyama) and attentiveness, which support moksha-oriented living.
By prescribing careful, timely offerings, it emphasizes reverent consistency—an essential bhakti mood—where devotion is expressed through precise, mindful service rather than mere emotion.
Jyotiṣa (Vedāṅga astrology/astronomy): the verse assumes knowledge of lunar rising/sequence and applies it to ritual timing and ordered performance of arghya.
