Jyotiṣa-saṅgraha: Varga-vibhāga, Bala-nirṇaya, Garbha-phala, Āyuḥ-gaṇanā
हित्वा भाज्यंगभागादीन्कलीकृत्य खखाक्षिभिः । भजेद्वर्षाणि शेषे तु गुणिते द्वादशादिभिः ॥ १२८ ॥
hitvā bhājyaṃgabhāgādīnkalīkṛtya khakhākṣibhiḥ | bhajedvarṣāṇi śeṣe tu guṇite dvādaśādibhiḥ || 128 ||
ભાજ્યના અંગભાગ અને ભિન્નાંશ વગેરે ત્યજી, ‘ખ-ખ-અક્ષિ’ અંકો દ્વારા શેષને કલિયુગ-ગણનામાં ફેરવી વર્ષો ગણવા. શેષ રહે તો તેને બાર વગેરે ગુણકો વડે ગુણિત કરવો.
