इष्टैः पलैस्तदूनाढ्यं व्यगावूनेऽर्कषङ्गुणः । तदन्यथाधिके तस्मिन्नेवं स्पष्टे सुखांत्यगे ॥ १५७ ॥

Transliteration

iṣṭaiḥ palaistadūnāḍhyaṃ vyagāvūne'rkaṣaṅguṇaḥ | tadanyathādhike tasminnevaṃ spaṣṭe sukhāṃtyage || 157 ||

Translation

નિર્ધારિત પલ-માનમાં ઓછાવધું થાય તો પરિણામ પણ તે મુજબ ઓછું-વધું થાય. જો ઓછું એક ‘વ્યગાવ’ જેટલું હોય તો પરિણામ સૂર્ય-ગુણ એટલે છ ગણું થાય. અને જો વધારે હોય તો તે મુજબ ફેરફાર કરવો—આ રીતે ગણિત સ્પષ્ટ રીતે કહેવાયું છે, જે સુખ-ફળના વિભાગે પૂર્ણ થાય છે।
