Adhyaya 84 — Devi's Promise
त्रैलोक्यमेतदखिलं रिपुनाशनेन त्रातं त्वया समरमूर्धनि तेऽपि हत्वा ।
नीता दिवं रिपुगणा भयमप्यपास्तम् अस्माकमुन्मदसुरारिभवं नमस्ते ॥
trailokyametadakhilaṃ ripunāśanena trātaṃ tvayā samaramūrdhani te 'pi hatvā / nītā divaṃ ripugaṇā bhayamapyapāstam asmākamunmadasurāribhavaṃ namaste
શત્રુઓના વિનાશ દ્વારા તમે સમગ્ર ત્રિલોકનું રક્ષણ કર્યું છે. યુદ્ધના શિખરે તેમને વધ કરીને તમે વૈરીસેનાને સ્વર્ગે (અર્થાત્ મૃત્યુ તરફ) મોકલી અને અમારો ભય દૂર કર્યો. ઉન્મત્ત અસુર-શત્રુઓ પર અમારી વિજયનું કારણ બનેલી તમને નમસ્કાર।
