न वै चतुर्युगावस्था नार्तवा ऋतवो न च ।
आग्नीध्रसूनोर्नाभेस्तु ऋषभो 'भूत् सुतो द्विज ॥
na vai caturyugāvasthā nārtavā ṛtavo na ca /
āgnīdhrasūnor nābhes tu ṛṣabho 'bhūt suto dvija
ત્યાં ચાર યુગોની કોઈ વ્યવસ્થા નથી; ન માસિક ઋતુઓ છે, ન નિયમિત ઋતુચક્ર. પરંતુ અગ્નીધ્રના પુત્ર નાભિને, હે દ્વિજ, ઋષભ પુત્રરૂપે જન્મ્યો.
