तथैव शाल्मले तेषां समनामानि सप्त वै । सप्त मेधातिथेः पुत्राः प्लक्षद्वीपेश्वरस्य वै ॥
tathaiva śālmale teṣāṃ samanāmāni sapta vai | sapta medhātitheḥ putrāḥ plakṣadvīpeśvarasya vai ||
એ જ રીતે શાલ્મલદ્વીપમાં પણ એ જ નામો ધરાવતા સાત પ્રદેશો પ્રસિદ્ધ હતા. અને પ્લક્ષદ્વીપના અધિપતિ મેધાતિથિને સાત પુત્રો હતા.
