Adhyaya 50 — Mind-Born Progeny, Svayambhuva Manu’s Lineage, and Brahmā’s Ordinance to Duḥsaha (Alakṣmī’s Retinue)
पूज्यन्ते हव्यकव्याभ्यां देवताः पितरस्तथा ।
यामयोऽतिथयश्चापि तद्गेहं यक्ष वर्जय ॥
pūjyante havyakavyābhyāṃ devatāḥ pitaras tathā | yāmayo 'tithayaś cāpi tad gehaṃ yakṣa varjaya ||
હે યક્ષ! જે ઘરમાં દેવો અને પિતૃઓને હવ્ય-કવ્ય અર્પણથી નિયમસર માન આપવામાં આવે છે, જ્યાં અતિથિઓનું યથોચિત સન્માન થાય છે અને પીડિત/દુઃખિતોની પણ સેવા થાય છે—તે ઘરથી દૂર રહો।
