वैशम्पायन उवाच तस्यास्ता: कृपणा वाच: कृष्णाया: परिदेवितम् । श्रुत्वैवाभ्यापतद् भीम: शयनादविचारयन्,वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं--राजन्! द्रौपदीकी वह दीन वाणी और करुण विलाप सुनते ही भीमसेन बिना कोई विचार किये शय्यासे कूद पड़े
vaiśampāyana uvāca | tasyāstāḥ kṛpaṇā vācaḥ kṛṣṇāyāḥ paridevitam | śrutvaivābhyāpatad bhīmaḥ śayanād avicārayan |
વૈશંપાયન બોલ્યા—રાજન! કૃષ્ણા (દ્રૌપદી)ની તે દયનીય વાણી અને કરુણ વિલાપ સાંભળતાં જ ભીમસેન કોઈ વિચાર કર્યા વિના શય્યા પરથી તરત જ ઉછળી પડ્યા।
