Shloka 12
युधिछिर उवाच अरणीसहितं यस्य मृगो हयादाय गच्छति । तस्याग्नयो न लुप्येरन् प्रथमो5स्तु वरो मम
Yudhiṣṭhira uvāca: araṇī-sahitaṃ yasya mṛgo hayādāya gacchati | tasyāgnayo na lupyeran prathamo 'stu varo mama ||
યુધિષ્ઠિરે કહ્યું—ભગવન, મારો પહેલો વર આ છે: જે બ્રાહ્મણની અરણીસહિત મથન-કાષ્ઠને મૃગ લઈ ભાગી ગયો છે, તેના પવિત્ર અગ્નિઓ (અગ્નિહોત્ર) નો લોપ ન થાય; તેનું નિત્યકર્મ અવિચ્છિન્ન રહે.
