भीष्मद्रोणयोर्दुर्योधनं प्रति शमोपदेशः | Bhīṣma and Droṇa’s Counsel of Conciliation to Duryodhana
यदर्थ क्षत्रिया सूते तस्य कालोडयमागत: । न हि वैरं समासाद्य सीदन्ति पुरुषर्षभा:
yadartha kṣatriyā sūte tasya kālo ’yam āgataḥ | na hi vairaṃ samāsādya sīdanti puruṣarṣabhāḥ ||
જે હેતુ માટે ક્ષત્રિયાણી પુત્રને જન્મ આપે છે, તે હેતુનો સમય હવે આવી પહોંચ્યો છે. શ્રેષ્ઠ પુરુષો વૈર સ્વીકારી લીધા પછી હિંમત હારતા નથી; ધર્મયુક્ત શત્રુતામાં પ્રવેશ્યા પછી તેઓ નિરાશામાં ડૂબતા નથી.
