भीष्मद्रोणयोर्दुर्योधनं प्रति शमोपदेशः | Bhīṣma and Droṇa’s Counsel of Conciliation to Duryodhana
नमो धर्माय महते धर्मो धारयति प्रजा: । एतद् धनंजयो वाच्यो नित्योद्युक्तो वृकोदर:
namo dharmāya mahate dharmo dhārayati prajāḥ | etad dhanaṃjayo vācyo nityodyukto vṛkodaraḥ ||
હું મહાન ધર્મને નમસ્કાર કરું છું, કારણ કે ધર્મ જ સર્વ પ્રજાને ધારણ કરે છે. આ સંદેશ ધનંજય અર્જુનને અને સદા કર્મોદ્યત વૃકોદર ભીમને પણ કહેજો—જે હેતુથી ક્ષત્રાણી પુત્રને જન્મ આપે છે, તેનો યોગ્ય સમય આવી ગયો છે; શ્રેષ્ઠ પુરુષો વૈર બંધાઈ ગયા પછી ઉત્સાહ છોડતા નથી.
