वाचको भरतमश्रेष्ठ व्यक्ताक्षरपदस्वर: | भविष्यं श्रावयेद् विद्वान् भारतं भरतर्षभ
vācako bharataśreṣṭha vyaktākṣarapadasvaraḥ | bhaviṣyaṃ śrāvayed vidvān bhārataṃ bharatarṣabha ||
હે ભરતશ્રેષ્ઠ! વાચક વિદ્વાન હોવો જોઈએ અને દરેક અક્ષર, પદ તથા સ્વર સ્પષ્ટ કરીને ‘ભારત’ શ્રવણ કરાવવો જોઈએ; હે ભરતવૃષભ! તે ભવિષ્યપર્વ પણ (હરિવંશ પરંપરા મુજબ) પાઠ કરવો જોઈએ.
