गदायुद्धप्रतिज्ञा — The Vow and Terms of the Mace Duel
तत् पापं सुमहत् कृत्वा प्रतियुद्धयस्व भारत । कथं हि त्वद्विधो मोहादू रोचयेत पलायनम्
tat pāpaṁ sumahat kṛtvā pratiyudhyasva bhārata | kathaṁ hi tvadvidho mohād rocayet palāyanam ||
સંજય બોલ્યો— એટલું મહાપાપ કરી લીધા પછી હવે, હે ભારતવંશી, પ્રતિ યુદ્ધ કર. મોહમાં પડેલો તારા જેવો પુરુષ યુદ્ધમાંથી પીઠ બતાવી ભાગવાનું કેવી રીતે સ્વીકારી શકે?
