Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca | suyodhana kim artho ’yam ārambho ’psu kṛtas tvayā | sarva-kṣatraṁ ghātayitvā sva-kulaṁ ca viśāṁ-pate ||

Translation

હે સુયોધન! તું પાણીમાં આ આરંભ શા માટે કર્યો છે? હે પ્રજાનાથ! સમગ્ર ક્ષત્રિયવર્ગ અને પોતાના કુલનો સંહાર કરાવીને હવે તું કેમ જળાશ્રય લે છે?
