समाश्वस्ता: स्थिता राजन् सम्प्रह्ष्ठा: परस्परम् । समाजम्मुश्न युद्धाय मृत्युं कृत्वा निवर्तनम्
samāśvastāḥ sthitā rājan samprahṛṣṭāḥ parasparam | samājam uśnān yuddhāya mṛtyuṁ kṛtvā nivartanam ||
સંજય બોલ્યો—હે રાજન! તેઓ આશ્વસ્ત થઈ સ્થિર ઊભા રહ્યા અને પરસ્પર હર્ષ વધારતા રહ્યા। યુદ્ધનો સંકલ્પ કરીને તેમણે મૃત્યુને જ મૂલ્ય માન્યું અને પાછા ફરવું અશક્ય ઠરાવ્યું।
