सम्बन्ध-- ऐसे नास्तिक सिद्धान्तके माननेवालोंके स्वभाव और आचरण कैसे होते हैं? इस जिज्ञासापर अब भगवान् अगले चार श्लोकोंमें उनके लक्षणोंका वर्णन करते हैं-- एतां दृष्टिमवष्ट भ्य नष्टात्मानो5ल्पबुद्धय: । प्रभवन्त्युग्रकर्माण: क्षयाय जगतो5हिता:
etāṁ dṛṣṭim avaṣṭabhya naṣṭātmāno 'lpabuddhayaḥ | prabhavanty ugra-karmāṇaḥ kṣayāya jagato 'hitāḥ ||
આ ખોટી દૃષ્ટિને આશ્રય લઈને—જેનુ અંતઃસ્વરૂપ નષ્ટ થયું છે અને જેમની બુદ્ધિ અલ્પ છે—તેઓ ઉગ્ર અને ક્રૂર કર્મોમાં પ્રવૃત્ત થાય છે. સર્વના હિતના વિરોધી બની તેઓ જગતના વિનાશ તરફ જ દોરી જાય છે.
