Nirmaryāda-saṃgrāma-varṇana — The Unbounded Clash and Bhīṣma’s Rallying Presence
असत्यमप्रतिष्ठ॑ ते जगदाहुरनी श्वरम् । अपरस्परसम्भूतं किमन्यत् कामहैतुकम्
asatyam apratiṣṭhaṁ te jagad āhur anīśvaram | aparaspara-sambhūtaṁ kim anyat kāma-haitukam ||
આસુરી સ્વભાવવાળા કહે છે—આ જગત અસત્ય છે, આધારહીન છે અને ઈશ્વરવિહિન છે. તે કોઈ નૈતિક વ્યવસ્થા કે ઉચ્ચ કારણથી નહીં, માત્ર સ્ત્રી-પુરુષના સંયોગથી જ ઉત્પન્ન થયું છે; તેથી કામ સિવાય બીજું કારણ શું હોઈ શકે?
