Nirmaryāda-saṃgrāma-varṇana — The Unbounded Clash and Bhīṣma’s Rallying Presence
काममाश्रित्य दुष्पूरं दम्भभानमदान्विता: । मोहाद गृहीत्वासदग्राहान् प्रवर्तन्तेडशुचिव्रता:
kāmam āśritya duṣpūraṁ dambha-māna-madānvitāḥ | mohād gṛhītvā sad-agrāhān pravartante 'śuci-vratāḥ ||
દંભ, માન અને મદથી યુક્ત તેઓ કદી ન પૂરાઈ તેવી કામનાઓનો આશ્રય લે છે. મોહવશ ખોટા સિદ્ધાંતોને પકડી, અશુદ્ધ અને ભ્રષ્ટ વ્રત-આચરણ ધારણ કરીને, તેઓ જગતમાં એમ જ ભટકે છે.
