Bhīṣma–Karṇa Saṃvāda on the Śaraśayyā (भीष्म–कर्ण संवादः शरशय्यायाम्)
ततो बर्हिणवाजानामयुतानन््यर्बुदानि च । धनंजयरयथे तूर्ण पातयन्ति सम भूमिपा:
tato barhiṇavājānām ayutāny arbudāni ca | dhanañjaya-rathe tūrṇaṁ pātayanti sma bhūmipāḥ || ekaikaṁ tribhir ānarccchat kaḍuka-barhiṇavājitaiḥ |
સંજય બોલ્યા—પછી ઘણા રાજાઓ એકસાથે મળી ધનંજયના રથ પર ત્વરિત અયુતો અને અર્બુદોની સંખ્યામાં, મોરપંખથી શોભિત અસંખ્ય બાણોની વર્ષા કરવા લાગ્યા. પરંતુ પાર્થ અર્જુને તેમને ક્રમે કરીને રોક્યા અને દરેકને ત્રણ-ત્રણ તીક્ષ્ણ મોરપંખયુક્ત બાણોથી વિંધ્યા; વિશેષ પીડા પહોંચાડી તેમની ગતિ અટકાવી.
