Puṣkara-Śapatha Itihāsa (Agastya–Indra Dispute at the Tīrthas) | पुष्कर-शपथ-आख्यानम्
सा ब्रह्मदण्डकल्पेन तेन मूर्थ्नि हता तदा । कृत्या पपात मेदिन्यां भस्म सा च जगाम ह
sā brahmadaṇḍakalpena tena mūrdhni hatā tadā | kṛtyā papāta medinyāṃ bhasma sā ca jagāma ha ||
ત્યારે તેણે બ્રહ્મદંડ સમાન પ્રભાવશાળી દંડથી તેના મસ્તક પર પ્રહાર કર્યો. તે કૃત્યા ધરતી પર પડી અને ભસ્મ થઈ ગઈ—એવું કહેવાય છે.
