Mataṅga–Śakra Dialogue on Tapas, Status, and Moral Qualities
लोकानवेक्ष्य जननीव पुत्रान् सर्वात्मना सर्वगुणोपपन्नान् । तत्स्थनकं ब्राह्ममभीप्समानै- गज़ा सदैवात्मवशैरुपास्या
lokān avekṣya jananīva putrān sarvātmanā sarvaguṇopapannān | tat-sthanakaṁ brāhmam abhīpsamānaiḥ gaṅgā sadaivātma-vaśair upāsyā ||
જેમ માતા સ્નેહભરી નજરે પુત્રોને જોઈ તેમની રક્ષા કરે છે, તેમ ગંગાજી પણ સર્વાત્મભાવથી પોતાના આશ્રયમાં આવેલા સર્વગુણસંપન્ન લોકોને કરુણાદૃષ્ટિથી જોઈ રક્ષા કરે છે. તેથી જે બ્રહ્મલોક મેળવવા ઇચ્છે છે, તેમણે મનને વશમાં રાખીને, જિતાત્મા બની, માતૃભાવથી સદા ગંગાજીની ઉપાસના કરવી જોઈએ.
