भगवान् भगहानन्दी वनमाली हलायुध: । आदित्यो ज्योतिरादित्य: सहिष्णुर्गतिसत्तम:
bhagavān bhagahānandī vanamālī halāyudhaḥ | ādityo jyotirādityaḥ sahiṣṇur gatisattamaḥ ||
ભીષ્મે કહ્યું—તે ભગવાન છે; ભગહા—ભક્તોનું પ્રેમ વધે તે માટે તેમનું ઐશ્વર્ય હરણ કરનાર; આનંદી—પરમ સુખસ્વરૂપ; વનમાલી—વૈજયંતી વનમાળા ધારણ કરનાર; હલાયુધ—હલ-શસ્ત્રધારી (બલરામસ્વરૂપ); આદિત્ય—વામનરૂપ આદિત્ય; જ્યોતિરાદિત્ય—સૂર્યમંડળમાં વિરાજમાન જ્યોતિસ્વરૂપ; સહિષ્ણુ—સમસ્ત દ્વંદ્વો સહન કરનાર; અને ગતિસત્તમ—સર્વોત્તમ ગતિ, પરમ આશ્રય।
