युगादिकृद् युगावर्तो नैकमायो महाशन: । अदृश्योड्व्यक्तरूपश्न सहस्नजिदनन्तजित्
yugādikṛd yugāvarto naikamāyo mahāśanaḥ | adṛśyo 'vyaktarūpaś ca sahasrajid anantajit ||
ભીષ્મે કહ્યું— તે યુગોનો આદિકર્તા છે અને યુગચક્રને ફેરવતો છે. તે અનેક માયાશક્તિઓ ધારણ કરે છે, અને કલ્પાંતમાં સર્વને ગ્રસી લે એવો મહાશન છે. ઇન્દ્રિયોને અગોચર, અવ્યક્તરૂપ, તે સહસ્રજિત્ અને અનંતજિત્—દરેક ક્ષેત્રે સર્વ ભૂતો પર સદૈવ વિજયી.
