Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
ग्रहस्यथातिबलस्याजड्रे वरदत्तस्य धीमत: । न शस्त्राणि वहन्त्यड्रे चक्रवज्ञशतान्यपि
grahasyathātibalasyāḍre varadattasya dhīmataḥ | na śastrāṇi vahantyāḍre cakravajñaśatāny api ||
વાસુદેવે કહ્યું—શિવના વરથી અનુગ્રહિત તે અત્યંત બળવાન અને બુદ્ધિમાન ગ્રહના અંગને ચક્ર અને વજ્ર જેવી ધારદાર સૈકડો શસ્ત્રો પણ ભેદી શકતા નહોતા; દૈવી કૃપાથી રક્ષિત વ્યક્તિ સામે માત્ર બળ અને આયુધો નિષ્ફળ થાય છે।
