देवसत्रे मृत्युनिरोधः, पूर्वेन्द्राणां मानुषावतरणम्, द्रौपदी-वरकथनम्

अर्जुनेन प्रयुक्तांस्तान् बाणान् वेगवतस्तदा । प्रतिहत्य ननादोच्चै: सैन्यानि तदपूजयन्
Vaiśampāyana uvāca: Arjunena prayuktāṁs tān bāṇān vegavatas tadā pratihatya nanādoccaiḥ; sainyāni tad apūjayan.
ત્યારે અર્જુને ચલાવેલા તે વેગવાન બાણોને પ્રતિહત કરીને કર્ણે ઊંચે સ્વરે સિંહનાદ કર્યો; અને સમગ્ર સેનાએ તેના તે અદભુત પરાક્રમની પ્રશંસા કરી।
