Shloka 73

भीमस्य जलान्वेषणं तथा वनविश्रान्तिः

Bhīma’s Search for Water and the Forest Halt

माकन्दीमथ गज्जायास्तीरे जनपदायुताम्‌ । सो<ध्यावसद्‌ दीनमना: काम्पिल्यं च पुरोत्तमम्‌

Vaiśaṃpāyana uvāca | Mākandīm atha Gaṅgāyās tīre janapadāyutām | so 'dhyāvasad dīna-manāḥ Kāmpilyaṃ ca purottamam ||

વૈશંપાયન બોલ્યા—“ત્યારબાદ તે ઉદાસ મનથી ગંગાના કાંઠે અનેક જનપદોથી યુક્ત માકંદીમાં તથા નગરોમાં શ્રેષ્ઠ કાંપિલ્યમાં નિવાસ કરવા લાગ્યો।”
