विवत्सायाश्च गोः क्षीरमौष्ट्रं वानिर्दशं तथा / आविकं सन्धिनीक्षीरमपेयं मनुरब्रवीत्
vivatsāyāśca goḥ kṣīramauṣṭraṃ vānirdaśaṃ tathā / āvikaṃ sandhinīkṣīramapeyaṃ manurabravīt
મનુએ કહ્યું—જે ગાયનું વાછરડું મરી ગયું હોય તેનું દૂધ, ઊંટણીનું દૂધ, દસ દિવસ પૂરા થવા પહેલાં દોહેલું દૂધ, ભેંસ/ઘેટાંનું દૂધ તથા ‘સંધિની’ અવસ્થાવાળી ગાયનું દૂધ—આ બધું પીવા અયોગ્ય છે।
