ऋतस्य पन्थामनु तिस्र आगुस्त्रयो घर्मा अनु रेत आगुः । प्रजामेका जिन्वत्यूर्जमेका राष्ट्रमेका रक्षति देवयूनाम्

IAST Transliteration

ṛtásya pánthām ánu tisrá āgús tráyo gharmā́ ánu retá āgúḥ | prajā́m ékā jínvaty ū́rjam ékā rāṣṭrám ékā rakṣati devayūnā́m

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Along the path of Order went three; three heats went on, along the seed. One quickeneth progeny; one, strength and sap; one guardeth the realm of them that seek the Gods.

Translation

ઋત (ઋતસ્ય) ના માર્ગે ત્રણ ગયા; બીજ (રેતસ્) ને અનુસરી ત્રણ ઘર્મ—ત્રણ તાપ/ઉષ્ણતા—ચાલ્યા. એક પ્રજાને પ્રેરિત કરે છે; એક ઊર્જા-બળ અને રસ (ઊર્જ્) આપે છે; એક દેવયુજન—દેવોને ઇચ્છનારાઓ—ના રાજ્યનું રક્ષણ કરે છે.
