छन्दःपक्षे उषसा पेपिशाने समानं योनिमनु सं चरेमे । सूर्यपत्नी सं चरतः प्रजानती केतुमती अजरे भूरिरेतसा
chándaḥpakṣe uṣásā pepiśāné samānáṃ yónim ánu sáṃ careme | sū́ryapatnī sáṃ carataḥ prajānátī ketúmatī ajáre bhū́riretasā
On the wing of Metre, with Dawn waxing full, let us together follow unto the self-same womb. The Sun’s Consort—together they move—bringing forth, radiant-bannered, unaging, of abundant generative might.
છંદના પાંખ પર, ઉષા પૂર્ણતા તરફ વધતી હોય ત્યારે, આપણે સૌ સાથે એક જ યોનિ તરફ અનુસરીને ચાલીએ. સૂર્યપત્ની—બંને સાથે ગતિ કરે છે—પ્રજાને જનમ આપતી, કેતુમતી (ધ્વજ-પ્રભાસિત), અજરી, બહુ-રેતસ (પ્રચુર જનનશક્તિવાળી).
