pitáraḥ páre té mā́vantu | asmín bráhmaṇy asmín kármaṇy asyā́m purodhā́yām asyā́m pratiṣṭhā́yām asyā́m cittíyām asyā́m ākū́tyām asyā́m āśíṣy asyā́m devahū́tyāṃ svā́hā

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

May the Fathers of old, the departed, protect me: in this sacred spell, in this operation; in this fore-setting, in this establishment; in this intent, in this resolve; in this benediction, in this god-invocation—Svāhā!

Translation

પ્રાચીન, પરલોકગત પિતૃઓ—તેઓ મને રક્ષે. આ બ્રહ્મણમાં, આ કર્મમાં; આ પૂર્વસ્થાપનામાં, આ પ્રતિષ્ઠામાં; આ ચિત્તમાં, આ આકૂતિમાં; આ આશિષમાં, આ દેવહૂતિમાં—સ્વાહા।
