Sukta 36
ये देवास्तेन हासन्ते सूर्येण मिमते जवम्। नदीषु पर्वतेषु ये सं तैः पशुभिर्विदे
yé devā́s téna hā́sante sū́ryeṇa mimate javám | nadī́ṣu párvateṣu yé sáṁ táiḥ paśúbhir vidé ||
The Gods who therewith laugh loud in triumph, who with the Sun mete out and order speed—those that are in rivers, those on mountains—with those I win me cattle and living store.
જેનાથી દેવો વિજયહાસ કરે છે, જે સૂર્ય વડે વેગને માપી ગોઠવે છે—નદીઓમાં રહેનારા, પર્વતો પર રહેનારા—તે દેવો સાથે, તે પશુભિઃ (પશુસંપત્તિ) સાથે હું ગાયો અને જીવસંપદા પ્રાપ્ત કરું છું.
