Sukta 35
अस्मा इदु त्यदनु दाय्येषामेको यद् वव्ने भूरेरीशानः । प्रैतशं सूर्ये पस्पृधानं सौवश्व्ये सुष्विमावदिन्द्रः
asmā́ id u tyád ánu dāyyeṣām éko yád vavné bhū́rer ī́śānaḥ | prá étaśaṃ sū́rye paspṛdhānáṃ sáuvaśvye súṣvim ā́vad índraḥ
To him, yea, to him, that deed accords beyond the rest: alone, the lord, he won him abundant store. Indra gave aid to Etaśa, striving with the Sun, in the fair-horse contest, with the well-pressed draught.
હા, એને જ તે કાર્ય સર્વથી વિશેષ રીતે અનુરૂપ છે: એકલો, ઈશાન (સ્વામી) બની, તેણે બહુ ધન-ભંડાર જીત્યો. સૌવશ્વ્ય (સુંદર-ઘોડાની) સ્પર્ધામાં, સૂર્ય સાથે સ્પર્ધા કરતા એતશને, સુષ્વિમા (સારી રીતે પિછડાયેલ) સોમરસ સાથે, ઇન્દ્રે સહાય આપી.
