यदा वलस्य पीयतो जसुं भेद् बृहस्पतिरग्नितपोभिरर्कैः । दद्भिर्न जिह्वा परिविष्टमाददाविर्निधींरकृणोदुस्रियाणाम्

IAST Transliteration

yadā́ valásya pī́yato jásuṃ bhet bṛ́haspátir agnítapobhir arkáiḥ | dádhbhir ná jihvā́ parivíṣṭam ā́dād āvír nidhī́ṃr akṛṇod usríyāṇām

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

When Bṛhaspati, with fiery ardours and with hymns, brake the swelling Vala’s jaw, then, as a tongue with teeth takes what is wrapped about, he seized it forth, and made the treasures of the ruddy cows lie manifest.

Translation

જ્યારે બૃહસ્પતિએ અગ્નિ-તપ અને અર્ક (સ્તુતિ-મંત્ર) વડે, ફૂલેલા વલાના જડબાને ભેદી નાખ્યો, ત્યારે દાંતોથી ઘેરાયેલી જીભ જેમ લપેટાયેલું પદાર્થ ખેંચી લે, તેમ તેણે તેને બહાર ખેંચી લીધું; અને ઉષ્રિયા (લાલછાંય ગાયો)ના નિધિ-ધનને પ્રગટ કરી દીધું.
