FAQs

It prescribes the completion-protocol for Purāṇa hearing: honor the reciter/teacher and conclude with obligatory dvija-bhojana (ritual feeding of Brahmins) to secure the full fruit of the listening.

Beyond theology, it documents practical dharma-ritual procedure—how to properly close a sacred recitation through honor (satkāra) and dāna (food-gift), reflecting the Purāṇa’s broad coverage of lived religious praxis.

It frames merit as contingent on right completion: reverence to the transmitter of scripture and charitable feeding function as purification and as the formal “seal” that makes the śravaṇa-phala complete.
