FAQs

It prescribes a Vāstu-śānti homa in the home using the “śaṃ no vanaspate” mantra, and specifically recommends offering ghee (ājya) to Agni to secure longevity and social harmony.

It demonstrates the Purana’s practical coverage of Vāstu-vidyā and domestic ritual technology—how mantra plus homa functions as a remedial protocol for house-site defects and for improving wellbeing (āyus) and relationships (absence of dveṣa).

By performing ājya-homa with an auspicious Vedic invocation, one is described as removing subtle impurity linked to the dwelling and accruing protective merit that supports longevity and reduces causes of enmity.
