FAQs

It prescribes a practical sādhanā sequence: worship (yajet), mantra-recitation (japet), ritual installation through nyāsa (vinyasya), and visualization/meditation on Devī (dhyāyet), specifically tied to a 108-unit hymn or name-cycle (śatāṣṭakam).

It encapsulates applied ritual technology—linking liturgy (stotra), mantra practice (japa), tantric-style ritual placement (nyāsa), and stated therapeutic/protective outcomes (freedom from fever and disease)—showing how the Agni Purana integrates devotion, ritual method, and practical well-being.

By combining disciplined recitation with nyāsa and Devī-dhyāna, the practitioner is presented as gaining protection from untimely death and afflictions—framed as the fruit (phala) of correct devotion and focused ritual purity.
