भवां पुरीषे पञ्चभ्यां नित्यं शान्त्यै श्रियं यजेत् वासुदेवञ्च गन्धाद्यैर् अपरा शान्तिरुच्यते
bhavāṃ purīṣe pañcabhyāṃ nityaṃ śāntyai śriyaṃ yajet vāsudevañca gandhādyair aparā śāntirucyate
શાંતિ માટે પંચગવ્યાદિ પાંચ ગૌ-ઉત્પાદોથી, ગોબર વગેરે સહિત, નિત્ય શ્રી (લક્ષ્મી)ની પૂજા કરવી. તેમજ સુગંધ વગેરે અર્પણોથી વાસુદેવની પણ પૂજા કરવી—આને બીજી શાંતિવિધિ કહે છે।
