The Manifestation of Māyā as Durgā/Kātyāyanī and the Slaying of Vaitrāsura

इन्द्रो भग्नो गतः सोऽग्निं अग्निर्भग्नो यमं ययौ । यमो निरृतिमागच्छन्निरृतिर्वरुणं ययौ ॥ २८.१५ ॥

indro bhagno gataḥ so 'gniṃ agnir bhagno yamaṃ yayau | yamo nirṛtim āgacchan nirṛtir varuṇaṃ yayau || 28.15 ||

Indra, vaincu, alla vers Agni; Agni, vaincu, alla vers Yama. Yama se rendit auprès de Nirṛti, et Nirṛti alla vers Varuṇa.
