Ritual Procedure for the Donation of the ‘Sugar-Cow’ (Śarkarā-Dhenu)

गुडेन तु मुखं काये जिह्वा पिष्टमयी तथा । कम्बलं पट्टसूत्रेण कण्ठाभरणभूषिताम् ॥

guḍena tu mukhaṃ kāye jihvā piṣṭa-mayī tathā | kambalaṃ paṭṭa-sūtreṇa kaṇṭhābharaṇa-bhūṣitām ||

Et avec du jaggery on façonne la bouche sur le corps ; de même, la langue est faite de farine. (On fournit) une couverture avec du fil de soie, ornée de parures pour le cou.
