Undivided devotion (ananyā-bhakti) is portrayed as spiritually “conquering” even the Supreme; moral worth is measured by devotion and vow (vrata), not by birth as Deva/Daitya.
Vamśānucarita / carita (narrative of exemplary figures and divine interaction): a didactic episode illustrating bhakti and the Lord’s responsiveness within a lineage-based (Daitya) story frame.
“The Lord is conquered” symbolizes that the Absolute, though unconquerable by force, becomes accessible through loving devotion—an inversion of power where humility and praise prevail over might.
