Yogatattva

वर्जयित्वा स्त्रियाः सङ्गं कुर्यादभ्यासमादरात् । योगिनोऽङ्गे सुगन्धश्च जायते बिन्दुधारणात् ॥

Padapatha (Word Split)

वर्जयित्वा । स्त्रियाः । सङ्गम् । कुर्यात् । अभ्यासम् । आदरात् । योगिनः । अङ्गे । सु-गन्धः । च । जायते । बिन्दु-धारणात् ॥

IAST Transliteration

varjayitvā striyāḥ saṅgaṃ kuryādabhyāsamādarāt | yogino'ṅge sugandhaśca jāyate bindudhāraṇāt ||

Translation

Après avoir évité la fréquentation des femmes, qu’il s’adonne à la pratique avec soin. Par la rétention du bindu, une douce fragrance naît aussi dans le corps du yogin.

Academic Translation

Having avoided association with women, he should undertake practice with care. From the retention of bindu, a pleasant fragrance also arises in the yogin’s body.
