tatra snānena dānena viṣṇulokaṃ vrajennaraḥ
En s’y baignant et en y faisant l’aumône, l’homme parvient au monde de Viṣṇu (Viṣṇuloka).
Agastya
Tirtha: Cakratīrtha
Type: ghat
Scene: Pilgrims bathe at the ghāṭa, then offer dāna to brāhmaṇas/poor; above, a vision of Viṣṇuloka/Vaikuṇṭha as the promised destination.
Pilgrimage is completed by ethical action—purification through snāna and generosity through dāna—leading toward liberation-oriented attainments.
Cakratīrtha in Ayodhyā (the immediately preceding tīrtha).
Snāna (ritual bath) at the tīrtha and dāna (charitable giving) are prescribed as merit-producing acts.
