Type: kshetra
Listener: Dakṣa (Prācetasa) and the assembled devas
Scene: Dadhīci speaks with authoritative clarity, gesturing across the assembled gods and even the unseen ranks of beings, declaring Rudra’s universal sovereignty and demanding proper worship.
All beings, from gods to spirits, are under Rudra’s ordinance; therefore, honoring Śiva with proper ritual is a fundamental duty.
Vastrāpathakṣetra within the Prabhāsa region is being praised as a setting where proper worship of Rudra is emphasized.
Worship “vidhinā”—i.e., with proper procedure and reverence—though no specific dāna, snāna, or mantra is detailed in this verse.
