Type: kshetra
Scene: Śiva, smiling yet authoritative, dismisses the devas with blessing and states his primacy in all sacrifices; devas rise from prostration, receiving the command with relief.
Proper honoring of Śiva at the outset sanctifies ritual action and aligns sacrifice with cosmic order.
The instruction is embedded in the Prabhāsa-kṣetra narrative, especially Vastrāpathakṣetra Māhātmya.
Śiva declares he should receive first worship (prathama-pūjā) in all yajñas at the beginning of the rite.
