Skanda Purana — Prabhasa Khanda, Shloka 83

लुब्धो मानी महाक्रोधी सत्याचार बहिष्कृतः । न देवं न गुरुं विप्रान्नो जानाति दुराशयः

lubdho mānī mahākrodhī satyācāra bahiṣkṛtaḥ | na devaṃ na guruṃ viprānno jānāti durāśayaḥ

Cupide, orgueilleux et saisi d’une grande colère, il fut retranché de la conduite véridique. Avec des desseins mauvais, il ne reconnaissait ni Dieu, ni le maître, ni les sages brāhmaṇa.
