प्रहरेन्न च विप्राय हत्वा शत्रून्न शेषयेत् । क्रोधं कुर्यान्न चाकस्मान्मृदुः स्यान्नापकारिषु

praharenna ca viprāya hatvā śatrūnna śeṣayet | krodhaṃ kuryānna cākasmānmṛduḥ syānnāpakāriṣu

Qu’il ne frappe pas un brāhmaṇa; et, après avoir vaincu les ennemis, qu’il ne les laisse pas subsister pour se relever. Qu’il ne s’emporte pas sans raison, mais qu’il ne soit pas non plus trop doux envers les malfaisants.
