Bhadra
Tirtha: Nāma-tīrtha of Dāmodara (conceptual)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Parapuraṃjaya (interlocutor)
Scene: A devotee, wherever situated—forest, city, seashore—remembers ‘Dāmodara’; a luminous doorway to Hari’s abode appears symbolically, indicating unfailing spiritual residence.
Name-remembrance (smaraṇa) of the Lord is a portable tīrtha: devotion itself carries one toward Hari’s abode and steadfastness.
While the context is Dāmodara-tīrtha, the verse universalizes the merit through Dāmodara nāma-smaraṇa anywhere.
Smaraṇa/japa of the divine name ‘Dāmodara’.
