वाराणसी प्रभासं च संगमं सितकृष्णयोः । एवं साराणि तीर्थानि यस्मान्मृत्युहराणि च

vārāṇasī prabhāsaṃ ca saṃgamaṃ sitakṛṣṇayoḥ | evaṃ sārāṇi tīrthāni yasmānmṛtyuharāṇi ca

Vārāṇasī, Prabhāsa, et la confluence du Fleuve Blanc et du Fleuve Noir : tels sont les tīrthas essentiels, car ils ôtent la mort (ils surmontent la crainte et les liens de la condition mortelle).
