yasmindṛṣṭe manuṣyāṇāṃ pūjite tu varānane | naśyecca saptajanmāghaṃ gṛhabhaṃgaśca no bhavet
Type: temple
Listener: Devī (Varānanā)
Scene: Devotees behold and worship Ratīśvara; a radiant liṅga bestows purification—seven births’ sins dissolve—and a household remains intact and prosperous.
Darśana and pūjā at a sanctified Śiva-site are presented as transformative—purifying deep karmic residue and stabilizing worldly life.
Ratīśvara in Prabhāsa Kṣetra (located near Kāmeśvara as per the preceding verse).
Darśana (seeing the deity) and pūjā (formal worship) are explicitly identified as the means to obtain the stated fruits.
